Peter Jay Sorensen is a seasoned design consultant, educator, and social entrepreneur who has dedicated more than two decades to helping organizations adapt and thrive in changing environments. Through his practice, Strategic Organization Design, he has guided companies, non-profits, and government bodies through large-scale transformations, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and outsourcing arrangements.

Pete’s approach is rooted in understanding human dynamics within systems. His work emphasizes resilience, adaptability, and forward-looking design, helping organizations navigate complex challenges such as the shift to remote and hybrid work brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. By bringing together cross-disciplinary teams, he has fostered innovative solutions that meet the demands of today’s rapidly evolving world.

Alongside his consulting, Pete has also served as a professor and mentor, equipping leaders to manage conflict, redesign systems, and embrace the integration of AI in their work. Holding a master’s degree in Organization Design from Brigham Young University, he continues to inspire organizations to move confidently toward the future with creativity and clarity.
